1. Measure the hooves
(width and length, 2 measurements per hoof)
To obtain the width measurement (the most relevant measure when choosing the appropriate boot size), you must measure the widest part of the hoof palm.
To measure the length, you must measure from the toe to the center of the imaginary line that joins the 2 heels of the horse’s hoof.
It is important that the hoof has been trimmed recently, so that the measures taken are reliable.
